Hope's Journey 7th Annual Anniversary Sing

WOW!  It has been a while since I wrote last and I apologize!  When we got home from Ohio, which by the way was an AMAZING TRIP, my computer fell out of the back of my van and it has been out of commission ever since!

We have been hitting the road pretty hard all year!  As some of you may know our bus, HOSS, has a locked up engine and is being repaired as we speak!  We hope to have him back on the road VERY soon!  We have missed traveling in the bus for the last several months!

We are gearing up for our 7th Annual Anniversary Sing.  We normally have it in August but this year we are doing things a little different.

We will be hosting our 1st Annual Hope's Journey Golf Tournament the morning of our Anniversary Sing.  It will be June 4th 2011 at the Stoney Brook Golf Course in Jacksonville AL.  Shot gun starts at 8:00 a.m. CST.  If you are interested in playing in the golf tournament, please email us from our "Contact Us" tab on the website!

Hope's Journey 7th Annual Anniversary Sing will be held on Saturday June 4th at the beautiful Hill Crest Baptist Church in Anniston , AL.  The concert will start at 6:00 p.m. CST.  A donation will be taken at the door.
The groups that will be there along with Hope's Journey this year will be Josh & Ashley Franks, The Diplomat's, New Desire & Jay Parrack, former tenor with Gold City, will be the emcee for that night!

We have our brand new CD available now.  Hope's Journey Hymns & Favorites Volume 1.  It will be sold at the table that night along with all of our other merchandise: t-shirts, jewelry, CDs  & DVDs!

We have a pretty busy schedule this upcoming weekend.  If you are going to be close by, stop in and visit with us!

5/28/2011 - Piedmont Memorial Park - Piedmont AL 12 noon CST
5/28/2011 - Welcome Baptist Church - Bremen GA 7:00 p.m. EST
5/29/2011 - Mellow Valley Baptist Church - Cragford AL 6:00 p.m. CST

Hope to see you all at the Anniversary Sing this year!

On the road to Ohio!

Hope's Journey Blog

Hey everybody!  Hope you're staying safe in this rainy weather.  I will be glad when that warmer weather comes back!

Just wanted to fill you in about this weekend.  We will be leaving tomorrow afternoon headed to Kentucky to spend the night and then on the road to West Unity, Ohio Saturday morning.  We will be singing at Living Hope Free Methodist Church for their Youth Rally on Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. We are really excited about meeting new people and being able to work with the youth.  On Sunday morning we will be singing at the same church again for the music part of the Worship Service along with our wonderful friends Firm Foundation.  Then at 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon Hope's Journey & Firm Foundation will take the stage together again!  This will be the first time together with the new group.  We are super excited about this weekend and we pray that souls will be saved and lives will be changed.  Please pray for our safety as we travel and sing for the Lord.  It is not about us it is all about HIM!

Hope you all have a wonderful and blessed weekend!

Love In Christ,
Krista

March is HERE!

Hey everybody!  I hope that you all are enjoying this beautiful SPRING weather!  I know we are.

Just wanted to first of all say a very special thank you to each and every one of you that came out to Hill Crest Baptist Church this past Sunday night.  We really enjoyed being there and had a great service!  Cody did an excellent job at his home church!  They loved HIM!!  We are so blessed to have such a talented young man on the road with HJ that loves playing for the Lord!

We have just finished up the vocals for the new CD that many of you have pre-ordered.  We are all very excited about it and can't wait for you all to hear it. Will keep you updated!

As many of you may have heard, our bus broke down on the side of Interstate 20 on the way back to Heflin Sunday Night after our singing at Hill Crest.  We had it towed first thing Monday morning to find out that the motor is completely locked up.  This means that the bus will be towed to Stockbridge GA to our dear friends', Lamar Welch, bus shop tomorrow to have a new motor put in.  Please pray for HJ as the devil trys his best to tear us down in so many different ways.

Also, don't forget to keep voting for Hope's Journey, Vonda and Krista on the Southeastern Gospel Music Conference website.  We are all in the Top 5.  The voting ends on March 7.  Login at SGMC and vote every 3 days.  We would greatly appreciate your vote and support!  Thank you so much!

Hope to see you all real soon at a Hope's Journey Concert!

God bless & love you all!

*2011*

Hey friends!  This is Krista! I hope this blog finds you well as we start this wonderful new year 2011.  We have had a long Christmas break & have thoroughly enjoyed it but we are ready to get back on the road.

As most of you know Ashley, Vonda's daughter, was expecting her & Josh's first child on December 29.  Miss Priscilla Rose Franks made her debut on January 5, 2011 at 4:06 CST weighing in at 7 lbs. 14 oz. & 21 in. long.  Ashley, Josh & Priscilla are all doing well and are expected to go home from the hospital today.  Vonda is beside her self with Priscilla being here.  Please pray for this wonderful new family as they start a new chapter in their life.

Some of you have been asking "Is the Alabama Homecoming still going to take place?"  The answer to that question is YES!  We are very excited about tomorrow night & hoping for a good crowd. The doors & concession will open at 4:30 CST and the concert will begin at 6:00 CST.  Josh Franks, Hope's Journey & Gerald Crabb will all be there tomorrow night.  We are so excited because this is Hope's Journey's first concert of the year.

We hope that you are making plans to come tomorrow night.  We are looking forward to a great service & wonderful fellowship with so many of our friends.

We love you all very much!
Hope's Journey
Vonda, Krista, Jeremy & Cody
