First of all I hope this letter finds each and everyone of you doing well after a wonderful Thanksgiving break. Hope's Journey had the week & most of the weekend off to spend with our families.
On Sunday Night after Thanksgiving we were in service at our friend Charlie Sexton's church Clarkdale First Baptist. We had a very good crowd and the Spirit was there. As we were getting ready to sing we had 2 celebrities join us, Jerry Goff & Jan Buckner. It was so nice to see them again & to be in service with them.
As some of you may know Vonda's dad is not doing well. He was admitted to the hospital first of last week. Vonda and her family have been spending lots of time with him. Someone has been at his side around the clock. They sent him home today with Hospice. God has the situation under control. No matter what God's Will is, please pray for Vonda & her family during this time.
This weekend is one that we look forward to all year. The Shadrix Trio hosts the "Smoky Mountain Weekend Getaway" the first weekend in December and Hope's Journey is always honored to be apart of this. It is a weekend of fun, laughter, food & of course CHURCH! Hope's Journey along with The Shadrix Trio, Enlisted, The Henderson's, Master Praise, Sharron Kay King, By Faith & JP Miller will all be joining together for 4 wonderful concerts, 2 devotions, a PJ/Karaoke Party & a 5 Star Banquet Dinner. Please pray for all of the groups that in everything we do HE will be lifted up & souls will be changed.
On December 13th we will be at Lithia Springs First Baptist Church. This is actually the Deacon's Christmas Party but they have opened up the concert for anyone who would like to come. The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. EST. The address is listed on Hope's Journey's schedule. Please come and enjoy a night of music with us. We will be doing some Christmas songs along with some of our original music.
On December 18th we will travel to Hendersonville, TN to be with our friend Don Frost as he hosts his Annual Christmas Party. Our friends Firm Foundation will be with us that night along with others. We look forward to seeing Don & his wonderful family.
After December 18th Hope's Journey will be taking the rest of December off. Vonda will be getting ready to meet her new granddaughter & will be traveling to Tennesee to spend time with Josh, Ashley & Miss Priscilla Rose. We all look forward to the Holidays because we all get to spend time with our families.
Please be sure to come to one of the concerts & see Hope's Journey as we close this wonderful year, 2010.
We are looking forward to starting a New Year in our ministry.
Please continue to pray for Hope's Journey as we travel & see lives changed.
I hope you have a blessed weekend!

Fall Is Here
Fall is here. The leaves are changing and so is the weather. It is so nice outside. It is amazing to see how God changes the seasons.
Hope's Journey has had a great past couple of weeks. Our Fall Sing at Copeland Hall with Firm Foundation & The Shadrix Trio was great. Thanks to everyone that came to the concert that night.
After the concert on Saturday night we traveled to Oxford AL to stay for the night on the bus. On Sunday Morning we were in service at Southside Baptist Church for their Homecoming and had a good service.
On Sunday afternoon we rolled down the road to Carrollton Ga to Mt. Carmel Full Gospel & had a great service. We have already been booked there again for the month of November. Hope's Journey will be singing & Bro. Jeremy Wilkes will be bringing the message that morning. We are looking forward to that.
We all had a busy week working and getting ready for this past weekend.
On Saturday night we were in Powder Springs, GA at Bailey's Diner. It was good to see so many of our friends from GA. We are so blessed with such great friends that support our ministry. After we had a great dinner at Bailey's we left and went to Rockmart GA for a Fall Festival that my church was having. We made it just in time to have a good ole' candy apple & funnel cake. It was so good to see some of my church family that night. After we left there, we brought the bus to my house & everybody spent the night.
On Sunday morning we were headed to Heflin Al for New Harmony's 140th Homecoming Celebration. It was a great service. It's good to see where the church started and where it is now. All the memories that everyone has.
After we had lunch we headed to Rockmart GA to sing that evening at Beulahland Baptist Church. Several of our friends & some of my family were there that night. It was so good to see all of them. We had a very good service. Several people in the altars talking with God. That is what it is all about.
We decided to have supper in Bremen Ga at the Cracker Barrell before everybody headed home for the night.
This coming weekend we are only singing once. We will be at New Brooklyn Baptist Church in Temple Ga for their 5th Sunday Night Singing. We are looking forward to being there.
If you can't be with us this weekend check out our schedule & see when we will be close by.
Please continue to pray for Hope's Journey as we travel & spread the gospel in song of our Lord & Saviour.
God Bless You All!
